Here are some questions you can answer in order to begin planning your event.

 

  • What type of party are you having? Example: wedding, birthday, graduation, etc.
  • How many people will be invited?  
  • Would you like to have all your guests seated?
  • Will it be a served dinner, buffet, cocktails, stations?
  • Will the food and beverages be under the tent?
  • Will you have a band?
  • Do they require a stage?
  • Will you have a DJ?
  • Are you interested in our Quebbie system (DJ in a box)?  
  • Will you need a dance floor?  
  • Will tent be put on grass or asphault?

  • What types & sizes of tables do you need. Examples: Guest tables, buffet, bar, placecard, gift table, cake table, dessert tables, coffee station, favor, high or low cocktails for other areas.
  • Will you be having a bar? if so, what type of bar? Full, limited, self serve?
  • Will the bartender provide the bar set?
  • What type of chair would best fit your needs?
  • Who will set up the tables and chairs?
  • What size linens should you put on the table?
  • What is the difference between formal and informal length linen?
  • Should you use paper or cloth napkins?
  • Should you use plastic products for the bar or should you use glasses?
  • How many glasses will you need at the bar?
  • What is the difference between a red wine glass and a white wine glass?
  • What glasses go at the tables and what glasses go at the bar?
  • How many bartenders do you need?
  • How much ice will you need for the event?
  • Should you use paper products or china for dinner?
  • If you use china plates for dinner, can you use paper products for dessert?
  • What size dishes will you need for the event?
  • What dishes will be on the table?
  • Do you need a full setting of flatware on the table?
  • What else will you need on the table. Examples: bread basket, salt & pepper shakers, creamers, sugar bowls?
  • What is a better choice, served coffee/dessert or a station?
  • Does your DJ need 1 or 2 tables?
